About the Troop…
- During the school year, we meet at the North Seal Beach Community Center on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Tuesday each month at 7:00 PM (the first Tuesday is designated for Patrol meetings).
- During the summer, we meet at Rush Park on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Tuesdays at 7 pm.
- We currently have just over 80 registered active Boy Scouts.
- Our annual dues are $260.00 for Scouts which includes 1 registered adult (no monthly dues).
What you should know…
- Each registered Scout must have 1 parent/guardian signup for a position in the troop (adequate training is available for every position).
- Adult involvement is required to oversee this Boy‐led Troop.
What we do…
- We generally offer at least 2 Summer Camps each year. We attend the camp that offers the best 1st year program for our new Scouts.
- We also send boys to Summer Camps that meet the needs of our older (13 +) Scouts.
- We offer a High Adventure Camp for Scouts 14 and older.
- We’ve attended Philmont and are plan high adventure treks each summer.
- We had a Mt. Whitney trip for advanced backpackers July 2020.
- We offer Camperships.

- We offer a well‐rounded program.
- We are a Boy‐led Troop.
- We have a solid merit badge program.
- We teach and encourage the Patrol method.
- We keep the Patrols together; we don’t split them every year.
- We have a minimum of 2 outings/activities per month.
- We’ve had well over 100 Scouts earn the rank of Eagle over the last 40 years, including more than 14 over the last year two years.
